Ron Zaleski and Heath Fleener, a Long Walk Home mentor, quickly assessed the situation and rallied a group of veteran volunteers to help. Together, they spent hours repairing the widow’s yard to bring it up to the HOA’s requirements. The impact of this work was immeasurable.
