Suicide Intervention (ASIST) Workshop – August 27-28, 2022
ASIST is Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training-2 Day Workshop. August 27-28; 8:30 am – 4:30 pm each day VFW in Hudson, Massachusetts Registration required. Deposit will be refunded after attendance.
The Long Walk Home Organization believes this workshop to be very effective. After the workshops we held, 80% of participants said they would intervene a person at risk of suicide but prior to class only 20% would intervene. Don’t wait until it’s too late to save someone.
There is no charge to Veterans, their adult family members, & supporters.

Workshop will begin Saturday, August 27 at 8:30 am and finish at 4:30 pm, then Sunday, August 28 at 8:30 am-4:30pm. This is a 2 day class. You will go home at night and come back in the morning. If you live more than 1 hour distance, we can help you with arrangements for accomodations.
Two knowledgeable, supportive trainers will guide you through the course, ensuring your comfort and safety. One of our trainers on The Long Walk Home staff, Ron Newhouse, is a 22-year veteran and he has led 21 ASIST Workshops.
